With a third of parents in low-income families cutting back on food to afford activities for their children this summer, we're proud to be continuing our support for @inkinddirect and their Summer of Play campaign in collaboration Save the Children International. Research shows that families are struggling to give their children the summer they want to, with the cost of days out, food and transport all huge barriers to creating important childhood moments over the summer holidays. That’s why they have joined forces along with hundreds of businesses, charities, community groups and councils around the UK, providing support for families with donations of arts and crafts, games, outdoor activities, food vouchers and basic goods.
